The Gathering House is an Evangelical Covenant Church committed to using its resources of space, time, and assets to create an environment where lives can be changed under the purposes and leadership of Jesus Christ. We desire to create a place where both believers in Christ and unbelievers can gather. Learn more about our history and how we stand true to our mission here.
About Us
The Gathering House Church is anchored to Jesus Christ’s two commands found in Mark 12:29-31, to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Learn more about our core values here.
We aren’t a big show with smoke and lights, our style is more simplistic, acoustic music. We like to use a variety of worship art beyond singing. You might see people moving around during worship and participating in interactive activities we provide to enhance worship for an encounter with Jesus.
Pastor Rob Bryceson likes to teach through a book of the Bible, rather than do topics. His undergraduate degree is in history. He has the ability to make the Bible stories come alive and whether you have read the Bible many times or never heard a single sentence from its pages – you will understand what God is saying, learn something fresh, and get inspired or challenged to live the life Jesus wants for you!
We offer children the opportunity to learn and grow in their relationship with our Creator through songs, stories, and a mix of center-based activities accommodating a variety of age levels and learning styles. We currently have two children's classes; nursery and toddlers (3 mos-3 years) and PreK-5th grade. Parents are welcome to join their child in the nursery until he or she is comfortable and ready for drop off. Check-in for children's classes starts 15 mins before the service.
Youth have tended to like to remain in the main service for both worship and teaching.
We look forward to having you join us.
